I found the staff attentive, but they were not overly so! the hotel location worked well. it sits right in the market square with shops and bars a short walk away. Our suite featured the biggest bed. it was great.
The room i stayed in was unaired. the main shower was hard to work out.

the bar was nice and inviting, a great spot to unwind after a day exploring! i noticed modern art on the walls, but i felt it seemed a bit out of place in such an historic building. i liked the design though

Underwhelming stay. Heating issues and confusing service
cold roomexcessive prices
The room was freezing. There was a mobile radiator, yet it was inadequate. the quilt was thin, more suitable for summer. we had to wear dressing gowns to bed because the heating was clearly not working! the prices for the mini-fridge were excessive too. I found them exploitative. breakfast was ok, but i heard other guests complain about it.

I booked a feature room directly over the phone and received a fantastic rate. an april special offer included an upgrade. spending credit. our two nights felt magical. Everyone was friendly and helpful. the room included a sofa, an upstairs luxurious bathroom, and a private balcony.
The courtyard looked unkempt. Benches needed repair and many plants was dead. however, the service was quick and the staff friendly.

the hotel is conveniently near open green spaces behind the church. the grounds of the abbey are a beautiful place for walks. the hotel is near many local attractions.

The room had elemis toiletries and felt large and spacious. breakfast was good quality, and i found the staff friendly. i particularly appreciated that the hotel provided a dog bed and bowl. It was a considerate touch for pet owners.
the fridge was stocked with overpriced items, like a very expensive bag of jelly beans. it felt disproportionate to the overall cost of the stay.

The breakfast area was conveniently located. I found the seating comfortable. There was a wide variety of fresh produce displayed attractively.
I was so disappointed. The radiators was to be just for show. The room was cold ALL night!
